We've owned the Hideaway now for 12 years and it really is our home from home. We've enjoyed so many good holidays here and it's our pleasure to be able to share it with others who wish to come to the wonderful town of Salcombe. The property sleeps 6 and has two modern bathrooms and a recently refitted kitchen which offers a great open space for entertaining. The large upstairs living room, offers panoramic views of the estuary which you can soak up from the decked terrace which is also the home of our much used BBQ.

If you don't know Salcombe it's a classic fishing village that is a warren of tiny streets with fantastic pubs, restaurants and shops dotted throughout. The best way to experience the town is to wander. Within minutes you’ll find yourself being tempted by various delights, from the legendary Salcombe ice-cream to great pub grub in The Fortescue to the retail heaven offered by many of the clothing stores. Eating out is always a pleasure and restaurants cater to all tastes but we'd certainly recommend the Galley and The Winking Prawn.

The fabulous beaches are all very close at hand, with North and South Sands being just a short walk away and the legendary Mill Bay being accessible using the famous Salcombe ferry. There are some great coastal walks for all levels and of course if you are a keen sailor, then Salcombe is going to be your idea of heaven!
